Cosmetic Bonding

Cosmetic Bonding is a procedure whereby composite resin restorative material is added to the surface to teeth to repair chips, color, shapes, and spaces between teeth. Cosmetic bonding is less expensive that porcelain veneers. This technique is not as long lasting as porcelain veneers and will need to be replaced or resurfaced every 5 years.

The cost is between $ 350-450/ tooth. Individuals who smoke and drink a lot of coffee and tea will notice some color changes with cosmetic bonding.  A solution is added to the tooth for 15 seconds to condition the surface for the placement of the adhesive and composite resins.  The resin is then hardened with a bright light. The material is  polished to a high luster giving it a beautiful white shine.
